Cafe Habana, New York

OMG, this place has killer fish tacos! This pretty much rivals any fish tacos I've had in NYC. My gf goes nuts for their corn, its good but personally ive had better. Brunch is best to go, but beware the weekends are jammed packed...expect to wait at least 1hr. Drinks are a little pricely, but hell its nolita.

Great Mexican!: Went with a few girlfriends and had a blast. The margaritas are fantastic and the food is great! They need more round tables.

I like coming here for lunch. I agree with others and the corn on the cob is the best. The only downside is that it is always crowded anytime of day and the wait can be too long at times.

Best Brunch-Cafe Habana: I love their corn with the cheese and chili pepper(or paprika) I think it is. Fun place to go and have a yummy brunch.

HELLLOOOOOO! CUBAN IS NOT MEXICAN!!!!!!! For all the people writing reviews about mexican food....maybe it's not what you expected b/c it's CUBAN food NOT MEXICAN...Understand the difference.

I went to go visit my friend in NY over the weekend. She recommended Cafa Habana for lunch and bragged about how good the corn on the cob was. I was blown away by the corn, it was the best I ever had in my life. In fact it was so good my friend and I went back a few hours later and got another one. I also recommend the steak burrito. Don't be in a rush to get your food because it will take a while, everything is cooked and cut fresh. I highly receommend this place to anyone who likes Cuban Style food. This is not like Mexican food.

We went to Cafe Habana because of a recommendation by a friend and we were all happily stuffed when we left. The corn was so good that even though we were stuffed we all wanted more. We were only in New York for three days and we walked back for lunch on the third day because no one could stop thinking of it! I would reccomend this place to everyone! A good time to go with no wait at all was 3:00-4:00.

the steak that I had was good but nothing special. The corn in the appetizer menu was FANTASTIC. no wonder every single person in the restaurant was eating it. The 55 minute wait was well worth it just to have the corn. Can't wait to be back to get some more.
