Would have given four stars if not for our bill. Let me explain; Our meals were excellent, the service was standard for such an establishment and we truly enjoyed our evening. So why two stars? My husband was pouring his $12 beer into his glass when a part of his glass broke off into his meal. The glass was big enough that he put it back into his beer and showed to the bus boy. The manager came over, apologized and took the beer away. A new glass was brought back no beer. So my husband finished hias remaining beer. When our bill came, his beer was on there. $12 for beer he couldn't drink! Come on - who does that?

Worst meal/service in NYC
By ,
The service was horrible and unfriendly. Made us feel like we were not there. The food was average at best. Ruined my wifes birthday. Would never go back... save your money and go down the block to The Harrison for a much more enjoyable dinner.

I had hoped for more.
By ,
An old friend and I arrived in plenty of time before our 7:15 p.m. reservation. We sat at the bar, talked, had a cocktail and waited for our 7:15 p.m. table to be readied. We waited a long time and finally had to ask the hostess when our table would be ready. We were told it would be ready soon. About 7:45 p.m. a young man came to escort us to our table. But, another host was just seating 2 other people; our table was given to others. Not good. So, we had to wait longer at the bar, then were shown to another table. Seemed clumsly. The food was so-so - nothing particulary special. Service was fine but the long and disorganized wait for the table kind of put a damper on the evening. I intend to return soon and see how my return visit to this highly rated (overrated?) institution is. We will see.

Excellent service!
By ,
The outside looked like a warehouse but once you walk in, you know you are somewhere special. The leaded glass humungous pendant lighting was beautiful! The service was friendly, alert and helpful. Food was scrumptious - we ate at lunch time before the lunchtime crowd came in. Will definiely go back, however it was a bit pricey.

Great place for a steak & glass of wine!
By ,
We tried this place on a friend's reccomendation whilst we were in NYC, & boy were we not disappointed! The food was fantastic, the service quite friendly, and the ambiance very TriBeCa! I whole-heartedly reccommend trying one of their steaks - it will practically melt in your mouth! The only downside is that the menu is a little on the pricey side: by the time we finished 3 courses plus a bottle of wine (dinner for 2), our bill was nearly USD$200. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Not a place to go if you're dining on a budget, but the quality of the dining experience makes it worth the extra expense. Treat yourself! (I know we will next time we're in town!)

Nice, romantic evening
By ,
I have not been in a few years, but I was there twice on my visits to Manhattan and it was a great experience. Good service (love when they take the little sweeper and brush your crumbs off the table) and good food. Although I am from Michigan and NYC people may have a higher standard for their dining.

A must visit
By ,
My boyfriend and myself went to Tribeca Grill on Super Bowl, yes, I had to drag him kicking and screaming, but what a wonderful nite, and such a pleasant experience. The waitress we had was excellent, unintrusive, would stop and talk if she sensed we wanted to otherwise she service us quietly and we wouldn't have known she was there. The wine list is extensive, I was just glad I didn't know what half of them were, and our waitress seemed to know all about it too. The food was delicious and overall it was just a perfect nite. If Robert De Niro had walked in that would have topped it off nicely. Enjoy!!
