Life (and New York City) has its simple pleasures: an open taxi when it's raining, a twenty-dollar bill on the floor of a subway car, a glimpse of Robert De Niro strolling the streets of Tribeca or a Saturday night dinner reservation at Babbo to name a few. But nothing comes close to a twenty-four-hour diner by the E train that serves cocktails and pancakes into the wee hours of the morning.
