My friend and I have been to NYC 4 times and always include a trip(s) to Milady's. Kim, the bartender, is more than friendly, pretty , generous and makes us feel at home. The corn chowder is to die for, Ya'll! You have an ecclectic selection in your jukebox, too. We love Beth, too, who we always hope will show up when we visit. No kidding-- My friend and I DREAM of this establishment often down here in Texas. Keep up the good work and we will
see you soon!

This is a favorite for my entire family when they visit, and for my aunt, a Catholic nun who has lived in the neighborhood since before it was SoHo. According to my father, it's not a dive, but I don't know how else to describe the atmosphere--somehow there still seems to be a cloud hovering overhead even though the barflies take their smokes outside. The food is basic, but fresh and substantial, and probably the best deal around if you've got a hearty appetite--big salads, mountainous nachos, pasta, pizza, nothing but chicken dishes listed under entrees but always lots of meat and fish specials. Look for the occasional celebrity sighting--my niece is still mounring her lost opportunity to share her quesadilla with Johnny Knoxville before he was booted for brawling with a fellow divester.
