I Tre Merli Restaurant & Bar
This is the second incarnation of the three crows down in Soho, the original located a few blocks away in the West Village. And at this spot, it seems most people come to the restaurant to watch the glamorous denizens stroll by along with an obscene amount of tourists. It gets noisy at night, but the music helps drown out most conversations besides your own. A minimalist approach has been used in the decoration, with stark brick walls and simple bottles on display. Antipasti include Homemade Mozzarella with Tomatoes and Basil and Prosciutto with Melon. There are also pastas, fish and meat dishes. Try the Veal Scaloppine with Artichokes!
love this spot! my girls and i love to go here for pizza and wine nights and just people watch. perfect location for that, especially when the weather is nice and they have the front windows open to the street.
Very interesting restaurant--different from the rest in this area. The decor inside really sets it apart from the rest. And the service. I think every time I've been here I have had a different server but all of them have been sooooo nice and attentive. Definitely a place you don't just visit once.
Just went here for the first time but it definitely won't be my last. I got the lasagna and never have I ever had lasagna with a pesto sauce and it was AMAZING. My friend got the milanese and was very happy with it--I tried a bite and I think I shall get that next time
Lots of options here, even for my veggie gf she wasnt left with something plain and boring like a house salad. We split their margarita pizza and lasagna and it was all so good. Also, you gotta try their chocolate souffle.
