Bold, colorful, and lively are three words that describe the food and atmosphere at Mesa Grill. Amidst a brightly colored decor and a festive crowd, diners at Mesa Grill discover chef Bobby Flay's vibrant Southwestern-inspired cuisine, which has been dazzling palates since the restaurant's opening in 1991.
The food was outstanding. Every apetizer and entree (there were 3 of us) we had was excellent. The taste and presentation were first class. The desert was excellent.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food with unique tastes. Recommend the blue corn pancake and barbecue duck, also the grilled asparagus quesadilla. For entree the pork tenderloin was fantastic. Great food without breaking the wallet. Flay is the man!!!!!!
I have been here about six times now and each meal has been better then the one before. I am never disappointed, it is my expectation that everything I taste will be delicious and it always it. The brunch is also delicious. Portions are good size and when you start with margaritas and end with delicious cake you will be feeling quite full.
We LOVED it. We watch Bobby Flay on the FoodNetwork so we decided to go for my 30th b-day. The place was so open and the service was very attentive. The presentations unbelievable. We love food and wanted more all night. They also sell cookbooks signed by Bobby Flay, pick one up you'll love it.
All my Mom talked about when coming to visit me in New York was how bad she wanted to eat at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. I took her there for her birthday and it was absolutely terrible!!! Big disappointment! Don't recommend to anyone.
Overall I had a great time at the Mesa Grill. It was completely packed and very loud but full of energy. The service was fast and friendly.
The complimentary bread was actually my favorite part though. There was 3 or 4 different types in the basket and they were all delicious.
The food was well cooked and nicely presented but I was overly impressed. I thought for the prices I should have been blown away.
Still I'd recommend it for it's location if you're interested in a lively atmosphere.
Very dissappointed. Veal chop was so overcooked, considering I ordered it med-rare. Sent it back, finally got my dinner when the rest of my table was done eating. What a terrilbe experience at such an expensive price, and not even an apology from the chef! THe waiter offered me more water instead. So overpriced and overrated. Will definetely NOT recommend it to anyone.
