Apple Restaurant & Bom Bar NYC
Though one is enraptured by the ethereal fountains that welcome one at this venue, on moving further inside, one realizes that the Apple Restaurant & Bom Bar NYC is classy Asian restaurant that combines the flavors of the continent to create a unique Pan Asian fusion menu that is equally tempting and filling. There is the signature Broiled Boneless Duck, Tuna Mango Spring Rolls and Saigon Soup. The desserts comprise Apple Rum Ice-cream, Chocolate Souffle and Coconut Sorbet. Party times are more fun with karaoke in the private room. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful, quite like the serene fountains outside.
Have been here several times and love the spicy cucumber salad with thinly sliced beef always fresh. The fresh -not fried-spring rolls are great with peanut sauce and the lychee martini is incredible. Ask them to make it a little sweet if that is your taste. The lighting and decor make this a great place for a first date or just to be anonymous.
Good food bad service.
I went here a couple of weeks ago for my cousins birthday party and while the food was great the service was awful. The waiters were very rude and could not be bothered, perhaps this is because they knew their gratuity was included in the bill. While I liked the food I do not recommend this place for big groups. I personally will not return.
I really enjoyed the restaurant. The Asian style decor is nice. The lighting makes it romantic. The food is excellent. The wine list is extensive. I went there 3 times. It is a place I recommend to my place.
