Stylish but inexpensive, this noodle house is always crowded with young, professional downtown dwellers whose salaries have yet to catch up with their aesthetics. The minimalist, loft-style interior is as sleek and pleasing as any of the area's more expensive restaurants. The diverse menu of Pan-Asian noodle dishes like Pad Thai and Shrimp and vegetable soup offers something for everyone at a reasonable cost. The place can get crowded, but service is reasonably fast.

"This is a fun place to go in Union Square, as long as you don't mind sharing a table with a stranger. But the food is worth the table sharing, and well worth the price."

"This old standby on Union Square has ticked up a few notches, with solid noodles, good lunch specials, and the calamari can't be beat."

"Noodles--and then some. Checkout their new bento boxes. Great buy for twleve dollars. The bowls of steaming soup (lime chicken or the wontons are particular favorites) and the hot or cold noodle dishes (especially the duck noodles) are special. Try the hot green tea with ginger. The noise, however, makes talking difficult."

Good quick noodles and quirky vietnamese sandwhiches. Be ready to wait for a table or sit at the bar!
