BBQ Restaurant, New York

My boyfriend and I went a few weeks ago and were dismayed by the decor, emptiness of the restaurant and realized how the menu differed from othere BBQs in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We were famished and just wanted something after seeing something at the Public Theater. We should have walked over to 2nd Ave. BBQs but went to this bootleg BBQs. The chicken wings were undercooked and wet instead of nice hot crispy and fried hard. Yuck. We won't go back.

I drive from Elizabeth,NJ to have bbq there several times a year. That's how good the ribs and bisquits are. I don't like anything else however, the buffalo wings are HUGE and taste a little....?..minty?.. i dont know but i dont like them. I've never been amazed at anything else they have there either. So, after a couple disappointments, i've learned my lesson and i now stick w/ the Ribs.. FingerLicking Good. Just when i get back home to 'joisy', i want some more ! lol AND very affordable too ! and i also agree w/ the previous reviewer...clean the bathrooms please or at least change the garbage bags so that they're not overflowing. ::ana::

We go there a few times a year. The food is great, the drinks are great (especially if you get happy hour prices), but they really have to clean the bathrooms better.

The food is excellent, the drinks are big and cheap, and our service was quick and polite. This place makes me wish I went to NYU

You can't beat this place, especially their chicken lunch deal. The food is relatively cheap for the students therefore passing on the saving to us adults. The drinks are incredibly priced and they are not cheap on the alcohol with their tremendous glasses. I would recommend this place to anyone for a quick and delicious meal.

THE FOOD WAS GREAT, THE CORN BREAD WAS THE BEST ! TASTE LIKE MAMA COOKED IT.THE RIBS WERE VERY TENDER. THE FROZEN STRAWBERRY MARGERTIA WAS THE BOMB!

Food is average. Nothing to get excited about.
