This simple restaurant located in the Korean section of Murray Hill serves tasty, authentic Korean food. Han Bat may look modest from the outside, but the chefs do not skimp on flavor. The spicy seafood stew warms your bones on cold winter days. Bimimbop , the Korean national dish made of vegetables and rice with chili sauce and a fried egg on top, is fresh and piled high. And every meal comes with several types of ban chan side dishes.
if u want something other than that same old boring bbq, i recommend this place. han bat doesn't serve bbqs but its menu is full of good, authentic korean dishes. short rib bbq is over-rated and over-priced anyway. i can't understand how traditional palate of koreans have evolved to appreciate one of the most toughest part of beef.
han bat has the best soondoobu in new york.
however, don't expect much from their service.

The foods are exquisite especially the Bibimbab and Pajun. Hm, even the name of the dishes makes my mouth watery. The staff are friendly and they greet you as you enter the restaurant. Once you tried the mouth-watery bibimbab, you can't never not return for a second dish. Served on a hot pot, with all the vegetables, beef and egg.
Han Bat is a wonderful restaurant with good food and good ambiance. Its a really good place to go out on a date or any other special occasion. The waiters are friendly and its very nice and calm during 4:00 and the rest of the evening because thier aren't many people. Around 12 PM its packed because of all the delicious food.
