Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, Atlantic City

Wow how bad can you get.Went on my birthday and service was pathetic.Took 10 minutes o be greeted and get a drink order in.They were friendly and the food was not too bad but the place is very dirty and i was scared of what the kitchen might look like. Would never go back.

Best Mexican food in south Jersey. Nearest to authentic. I know, I've lived in the southwest and have traveled to Mexico. You will be greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly. Your server always arrives within a minute to take your drink order. Someone else drops by with chips and salsa so you can begin eating while you look at the menu. Food is served faster than anywhere else and the portions adequate. The decor makes you feel like you are in Old Mexico, adding to the experience of this small but efficient restaurant. I tend to get the same thing, enchiladas, but after reading the other reviews I have to try them as well ! I second the Margaritas.

Love to gamble! Love Los Amigos even more! Best Mexican food I've had since I left CA and the Mexican border, perhaps better! Have turned many of my friends on to this restaurant, even those who swore they couldn't stand Mexican food will now say it's the best food they have ever had! Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend and I visited Los Amigos for lunch during a conference in mid-July 2007. The atmosphere is nice - very authentic looking. Great salsa. We went with a group of people who all seemed satisfied with their orders. No wait at all, our server was very corteous and we got our food in plenty of time to get back to the conference. Great margaritas. Try it out - it was worth it.
