Dock's Oyster House, Atlantic City

OK the place is always jammed so the service is hit or miss. We had a young waitress who was a sweetheart and honestly seemed interested in us having a good experience. But don't go to this seafood restaurant for the service, "GO FOR THE FOOD" My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Atlantic city and had dinner at Dock's on Thursday night. It was one of the best meals we ever had. Shrimp cocktail, Oyster Rockefeller and the Maine clam chowder appetizers. My wife had the Pecan crusted salmon and I had the scallop special. They were both awesome. Go and enjoy!!!

Went during Atlantic City restaurant week and was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in until we walked out the door everyone was extremely attentive. Everyone at our table was pleased with all three courses. Tables are a bit tight but it did not seem loud. Wine list extensive and reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

Sea food lovers delight

Our party of 10 went to Dock's for my wife's birthday. The atmosphere was perfect - casual elegance. The service was outstanding. We had everything from lamb to crabcakes to flounder. The food was sensational. A great place to go.

Fabulously, fresh seafood selection towered over the table. My 8 year-old can't wait to return with the same wait staff. He wants to eat the succulent, steamed clam ap every night. They took great care of us providing toys for the boys. Get there early. There wasn't a seat left 20 minutes after the doors opened.

Oysters are presented with exceptional skill, as fresh as can be, and reasonably priced. This AC Old Reliable is a classic fish house with standby dishes like crab Imperial as well as simpler, more modern treatments. Tables are crammed together, which has a slight negative effect on service. But this is all part of the classic fish-house atmosphere. Excellent and affordable wine list with seldom-seen selections such as Vermentino.

The owner and the staff are very friendly. The seafood is good, and very interetsing wine list. Better then any of the casinos restaurants.

This is THE spot in AC. Best oysters, bar, seafood and service in the whole state. We go every night we're in AC. Forget the casinos....go to Vegas for that....go to AC for Docks!

I've eaten regularly almost everywhere in Atlantic City and the surrounding area and can absolutely state with no amount of uncertainty that Dock's is the OVERALL BEST place!
