Absolutely hands-down the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I had the cheesesteak, and it actually tasted like beef! I also managed to snag a bite of my friend's White House Special, and it was fantastic - some of the best deli meat I've tasted. Just as a heads up - booths are only for parties of 2 or more, so if you're alone, be prepared to find a bench nearby. Also, when you walk in, it can be a little confusing for a first-timer. Walk all the way to the back, grab a number, and then they'll call you to take your order at the counter. Definitely the best place I ate during my entire stay in Atlantic City!

Simply the best. I live in Arizona now, but boy do I miss those subs! All are great, but the tuna sub is the best on the planet. Amazingly excellent!

A trip to AC is not complete without a stop at the white house. In fact, anytime I go to AC, I look forward most to the subs at white house! The double special is awesome, it is almost 14.00, but you can seriously get 2-3 meals out of it. The clientele and employees are a bit shady, but not as bad as the senior citizens crowding up the lackluster casino buffets

Best subs anywhere (not hoagies )the White House Special is the best sandwich ever made.Since I moved from the area I have dreams of going back just one more time,just for a Special and to let my eyes wander over all the pictures on the wall.One of those places that just gets better with time and one of those places you will always miss about home. :)

Gotta agree with most of the positive reviews here. Evertyime I've gone, I've left fully satisfied. I try and go here whenever I'm in AC. The people who work there can be a bit rude, but once you are seated the waitress is usually pretty nice. It is annoying, though, that they don't even accept credit card...

Horrible. Sure the sandwiches are good, but waiting for over an hour for one is NOT worth it. If you don't have a line, I would recommend, but not when you have to wait. Plus double check the order while they are making it, when we got home, several of the orders were missing things.

A FRIEND OF MINE WAS GOING TO ATLANTIC CITY AND I TOLD HER ABOUT THE WHITE hOUSE SUB SHOP ON ARTIC AVE AND IF SHE DID GO THERE TO BRING ME A SUB BACK TO LYNCHBURG,VA.I LIVED IN ATLANTIC CITY IN THE 1950,S. I TOLD SHE SHOULD GET A SUB AT THE BEST PLACE IN THE U.S.A. I MUST SAY THAT THE SUBS ARE AS GOOD AS THEY WERE WHEN I LIVED THERE 56 YEARS AGO.KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. BILL KOFELDT
