If you like being told to go to another restaurant by a manger if we wished to be treated better than this is the place for you. Monday and Thursday night they have a prime rib special well i guess you need to be there at 4pm to actually get some. We arrived at 6pm to only be told they have no prime rib. So some ordered scallops that came full of sand. Veal that you really needed a saw to cut through it. Even the salad was soggy and felt like it was made yesterday. After 10 Years of going there I will never return.
Great place and plenty of food. Wait time was 45 min so we went back to our hotel and came back in 35 min so the waiting outside wasn't very long. Service was excellent and now I know why there's always a wait to get in. It's also BYOB so remember that. We had plenty of left overs for the next day. I love pasta and seafood and wasn't disappointed.
You cannot go wrong here. Our family (2 adults/3 kids) had 4 different meals and each one was awesome. If you read a negative review about this place it was written by a competitor. Great vibe, great food and byob....a home run in tourist city.
My mother and I decided to try this restaurant last week, we arrived at 4:05 stating in their ad that they opened at 4. We walked through the door and was greeted by a women who stated that she wasn't sure if they were open we then heard a man yell from across the room CAN'T THEY SEE THAT THE SIGN SAYS CLOSED!!!!!! and I looked at my mom and decided that with his attitude we definitely would never try that place again and would not recommend it to anyone, as an italian I am embarrassed to have the word italian as part of the name to this restaurant.
Went here in summer of 2008. We were hoping to find a good italian restaurant. Didn't find it here. My daughter ordered to popcorn shrimp, it was like rubber and she had to share our meal which was below average to say the least. Definately would not return.
It was our first time to this restaurant. While the atmosphere and service were top notch, the food quality was so-so. My friend got the pasta with pesto sauce. The pesto sauce was so heavy with cream and oil that he had to stop eating just several bites in. I tasted, and agreed that it was not fit for consumption in quantities of more than a few bites. My Tour of Italy was just okay- nothing special. The prices are steep, and I felt that given the food quality, it just wasn't worth it. We won't be returning.
We (a party of 9) went on a Thursday night. Having read some of the reviews I was a little skeptical. However, we had the best meal of our stay. The food was very good, portions were generous, the prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. I would suggest Little Italy to anyone!
This is below average for dinner and you might as well buy a box of pasta and some jar sauce it will be cheaper and taste better. I would never go there again and it came recommended to us. Very unaccomadating staff gave away a table we had told them to save for additional people that were coming to diner when they had at least 10 other open tables. We were a party of 15 and only 1 person enjoyed their meal.
