The Wharf, Wildwood

This place is amazing. I have been going to wildwood my whole life during the summer and have never been to this place. I saw a huge W coming over the rio grande bridge this year and we stopped in for dinner that night. I had the rare tuna entree and my wife had the sauteed crab cakes. We split the baked clam appetizer as it was recomended, GET THIS. I could have sat all night and dunked that sarcones bread in it. We got a bucket of beers on their deck and watched the flyers as the sound was pumped through the speakers. Kids split a pizza and calamari. These guys know how to do it right. Manager came up to us and asked how everything was. Kids had a blast as it was definitely family friendly. I can't wait to hit this place up this summer.

I was just at the Wharf this week... 6/10/2010. when I arrived the hostess explained they have a sunset special that is available between 4 - 5pm for $15, there were 6 different entrees to choose from. I had tuna and my husband had lemon garlic shrimp, salad was incl too... it was great food and service! I would recommend this restaurant and plan to go back soon.

Went there 6/11/2009 after reading reviews about going there before 5pm to eat inside to get buy one get one free dinner and drinks. My first time there and the hostess gave me attitude when she told me that was taken off. I saw it on the reviews and she argued with me and we left not a people friendly place to go. Food menu looked awful and the one man band was loud. We found a much better restaurant. The bayview. Staff was excellant and food was great and at a reaonable price. Horrible first impression for my first time going there. There are so many other good restaurants!

This is the best bargain in the Wilwoos. Eat inside before 5:30 an you get two meals for the price of one. NO RESTRICTIONS other than you can't buy two lobster dinners for this deal. You can buy one lobster dinner and one other. The food is well prepared and the menu has a large selection. We have eaten there 4 times this season an continue to go back. Happy hour prices are honored in the restaurant (not just the bar) and you get huge martinis. A definite winner.

Great scenery, but the food has gone down hill since Chef Bob left. Any chance that they could get him back?

We went to wharf on May 30,2006 for my brothers birthday. The value was amazing. Buy 1 get 1 free before 5 pm. Also it was happy hour so We treated my Mom to a frzen strawberry Daquiri. It sure made her day. The food was amazing-crab cakes, wonderful salmon for the 81 year old youngster, and encruster Ted for the Birthday Boy. My Mom could not have the soup or salad because of dietery problems so the waitress was so nice she gave her a bowl of applesauce. My daughter recomended the place because she was there with a bunch of people at Memorial Day weekend. I can't think of any dislikes since everything was perfect. We will be back. This place is a hidden charm of Wildwood and I've lived here 14 years.
