We live in Wildwood year round and we don't eat out during tourist season. My husband and I went to Uries on 10/1/2011. We read the reviews and thought we would try it anyway. We were HAPPILY greeted with no wait. When we ordered a coke we were told that is was RC cola. The portion sizes were fantastic. The chicken parma was half the size of the plate as was the flounder. We ordered off the early bird menu and the prices were very reasonable. The drink choices were clearly on the menu so there is no reason why anyone should be surprised that they serve RC cola. There is another restaurant in Wildwood that serves RC cola and don't tell u, but not Uries. When you are a tourist, you can't expect to come down and be seated and served right away. If you are in a hurry then order out. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Uries a 10+++++++!!!!! The service, atmosphere, food, portion sizes are EXCELLENT!!!!! We will be definately going back to Uries and will recommend it to our family, friends, and tourists.

My family and I went there once, and we swore we would never come back there to eat. The food was horrible as was the service. When we complained about cold food and bad mussels, we were given a shrug off. There are so many wonderful restaurants in the area that you are better off eating somewhere else!

We were VERY disappointed with Uries. The food was average at best, the portions were small, and the prices were extreme! We paid $19 for the same shrimp dinner that we got at another restaurant in Wildwood for half the price! Also, we ordered Coke to drink, and when we told the waitress it tasted funny, she said that was because it was RC Cola. 1. I've never been at a restaurant that didn't serve Coke or Pepsi, and 2. if it is different than what we ordered, the waitress should say "We serve RC Cola, is that okay?" I felt we should have been told. The worst thing is that we spent over $60 for one adult and 2 kids, and left feeling hungry! Ugh!

I agree with some of the other people. The food is HORRIBLE! The worst crabs I ever had! The service wasn't much better.

We called the restaurant at 9:30 to make sure they were still open. We were told they were seating until 10:00. We arrived at 9:45 and were told they were closed. My husband told the hostess that he just called and was told they were seating until 10:00. The hostess checked with someone and was told to seat us. That was the only service we received. Although there were still people eating, we were not offered so much as a water. The bartender glared at us as we entered and except for dirty looks, the waiters ignored us. We finally left after 10 minutes of feeling uncomfortable. At that point we were afraid someone would spit in our food, if in fact, we were ever given the opportunity to order anything. I will never recommend or go to this restaurant again. What a bad experience for our children and two small grandchilden to see adults acting like asses. I can't even give this review a 1, but I had to put something or I can't post......wish there was a negative number to chose.

Do not eat here. Although it has a great view, ambience, and service, the food is HORRIBLE. I'm a big fan of seafood and all you can eat crabs, so I was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately the crabs were so salty and dry, that I could not eat more than 2. And they were charging us $40 per person! I thought the bad crabs was their way of keeping you from ordering too many, but I just felt completely jipped. So I ordered calamari and spaghetti, and once again the calamari was drenched in salt and the spaghetti sauce they used was tomato sauce from a can. Honestly, how hard is it to cook crabs, and how hard is it to make spaghetti. I was so upset with this place, I did not bother to order other dishes or speak with the manager. I just wanted out. Do not be fooled by this "pretty" waterfront restaurant. There are plenty of other good places in Cape May.... like the Lobster House.

Kitschy and predictable south Jersey shore food. If it weren't so darned popular, it would be a decent place to stop by for crabs, but it's just not worth the exceptionally long wait.

I think this was the worst meal I've ever had, hands-down.

While the service was fast and attentive, the food quality was subpar and the prices were inflated. The dungeonus crab was dry and flaky. The chocolate cake was the same- dry and crumbly. It was our first and will be our last visit.

They removed the Fra Diavolo dish from the menu. It was my favorite dish. And no coke or pepsi? You got to be kiddin! RC cola is terrible.
