Sindia Restaurant, Ocean City

This restaurant was right next door to our condo, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did, it was wonderful! The specials were great, everything was homemade, and the staff were very efficient and friendly. We plan to stop here every time we visit OCNJ now!

One of our all-time local favorites when we lived in the area & when we visit OC since we moved away. Good, home-cooked food served by waitstaff who come to OC to work from around the world. The Sindia is the kind of old-fashioned restaurant that Ocean City was famous for in the 1940'2 -50's - 60's. There are few of those left now but the Sindia takes us right back to those days. Their array of homemade desserts is astounding & delicious. A visit to the Sindia, a family restaurant (no alcohol or BYOB) is a must for vacationers & visitors to OC. The Sindia's building is typical of the style of the old-time OC summer rooming houses & is homey & charming.

You won't find a better value or a warmer welcome than a meal at Ocean City's famous Sindia Restaurant My Dad has been eating there since the 1940s and I enjoyed a meal just last week. Named for the historic shipwreck off the Ocean City beach, people have been eating here for decades. The new owners have made the dining experience even better. The Hubbard family greets you, cooks for you, serves you -- all with engaging banter and a genuine smile. The Sindia is just a block from the Boardwalk, so it is convenient to get to on a busy night but doesn't suffer from long waits so typical of the Boardwalk restaurant experience. The food is very high quality, fairly priced, and there's a wide selection. If you are in Ocean City and want a tremendous dining experience, this is the place to go.

The Sindia Restaurant is Fantastic!!!! My wife her sister, daughter & mother-In-Law just ate dinner there. The service was outstanding and the prices very reasonable. They had Shrimp, Crab cakes & Talipia all meals were superb with impeccable service. The entire staff is friendly & professional. Other more expensive trendy Restaurants down the NJ shore need to learn from the Sindia. *This Restaurant you must experience for yourself, we're looking forward to going back!!!!

I had three meals there with my family last week. The breakfast is outstanding. There is a bakery on the first floor and the cinnamon buns are unbelievably delicious. The staff and service were friendly and personable. The dinner menu was extensive. I had crab imperial, and it was perfect. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Apparently the Sindia is a famous ship that sank near Ocean City, and the place is not an Indian restaurant. My eight year old son liked the milk and his American cheese omelet and kept wanting us to go there.

The food was excellent and everything was included. New owners made us feel like part of the family and were great with my kids.
