Great food, very clean, service was great. I don't see how anyone could not like this place. Family owned and operated for over twenty years. It looks brand new. I've been going here since I was a young kid. I recommend this place if you are looking for breakfast and lunch. If you are looking for a fine dining elegant dinner, I would go to the casino or somewhere in Atlantic City. The dinner is good there, but it isn't high class. You get a boat load of food for dinner though.
This was the worse exp on vacation, couldn't wait to get to a NJ Diner received salad the lettuce was bad but I didn't complain I just didn't eat it. When the Meatloaf came I ate some patatoes then had some Meatloaf it tasted worse than dog food took a few bites called the waitress over she took the green beans and meatloaf back at that point I said I didn't want anything else. She came back and said they would chg me for what I ate the beans which she took back and didn't ask the salad that was bad all I had were the patatoes. The worst exp ever. I am from NJ gone 35 years and will never go back to that so called Diner. The MGR was not there and the Mgr on duty didn't even know what ala carte meant. We paid even for the salad. Stay away go somewhere else
Diners in NJ are supposed to be good.... this diner was great. I ordered two eggs over light with sausage hash browns and a side of french toast. I dont know where they get their sausage (or more likely how they made it), but it was the best sausage I have ever tasted. It was a very meaty sausage. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The french toast melted in my mouth. The waiter we had was very attentive (but not overly so).
Overall, a tremendous experience that I would recommend to the pickiest of foodies.
Recently refurbished classic South Jersey diner a few miles west of Atlantic City. Extensive menu with a few items not usually seen (e.g., several types of cheese sandwiches)in this srea. Prices are a bit above average for this area and the service was mediocre.
A grilled cheese with tomato sandwich was well done, as was a hot dog platter with cheese fries. Unfortunately the size of the bun massively overwhelmed the dog. Dessert options are limited and our server (perhaps because of language limitations) was unable to offer a detailed list or make suggestions.
Would not go out of my way to eat here (it is a 50 mile drive from home) but would be willing give it another shot the next time I'm in that neighborhood.
