Well my girlfriend ordered the shepards pie and Id have to say I think scruffys alpo might have possibly tasted better. The thing was drowned in brown gravy and that couldnt even save it. The entire draft beer system was down (on a weekend night in a irish pub no less). The server had to depend on runners in a almost empty restaurant. All in all Id have to say the place is a dump and will never see my business again. Guess your typical South Jersey Pub that depends mostly on there spirits for survival.

Went here after working all day, just wanted to sit down and enjoy some time with my daughter for something to eat, not a big dinner. It was around 8:00 so the dinner crowd was gone, just ordered a beer and a Reubin easy enough. My daughter ordered her usual Chicken Nuggets and a Coke. My beer came and so did the soda fast enough, but when my sandwich came, it wasn't the Reubin I ordered, it was a Turkey Rubin???? Rather than have the waitress take it back, I told her I would try it. It was the worst thing I ever tried to eat. It came with a handful of broken chips not even a pickle. Then they rushed us out because they had a band coming in and we were seated at one of the main booths. Needless to say this was one of my favorite places to have a good meal for not too much money. Our whole meal cost $29.00 without tip. I have to tell you my sandwich wasn't worth more than $3.00 thats including the little bits of potatoe chips! I will think twice before coming here again, it's JUST NOT THE SAME... very dissapointed.

I've been here a handful of times, and the food and drinks are always good! For the most part the wait staff is very friendly, maybe at times a little distracted or indifferent at worst. The drinks are averagely pricey, the food is reasonable. Great place to have a happy hour or lunch. Cozey, casual atmosphere. Lots of tv's to watch news or sports. Has a little parking lot so no worries about parking on the street or anything. Definitely worth a try!

H- you clearly work for the restaurant. Accept that your place is not for everyone and stop suggesting that everyone owes the place 3 stars. It is not half the customers fault that the food that was brought was wrong or poor. To suggest that, is to suggest that you don't have high expectations for customer service.

You could compare Dunleavy's to Cheers! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, family owned and run. Hang-out with friends or bring your family. Great food...enjoy a burger or a great dinner (a variety to suit every eater). The prices will not leave you with an empty wallet in the end which is very helpful during these times! I would recommend Dunleavy's Restaurant to everyone.
