Italian Affair Restaurant
Come join us for great food, a glass of excellent wine and a wonderful experience. Conveniently located on Delsea Drive in Glassboro, New Jersey, Italian Affair is an exceptional eatery that offers a wide range of Italian dishes in an elegant, and yet relaxed atmosphere.
Just checked this place out for the first time. The food was bland and whoever is doing the pasta needs to practice more because all the pasta we got was undercooked. The menu is far too big, which is something you find in places that are trying to compensate for poor quality. The atmosphere was ok; a little too dark tho and the pianist butchered a few songs. The wait staff was very good though, no complaints there. The pricing was expensive considering the quality of food was poor. If the food was up to par, the pricing would be more justified. This place was not awful but it was far from good. I will not be returning again.
Cannot believe the ratings are so low. I think it`s the only nice restaurant in G-boro. The food is extremely affordable especially for the quality and portion size! Hello, People! It`s not some pizzeria, you cannot expect your meal to cost $10. I like the atmosphere and staff. Nice people!
This place is nothing special. I went once and really have no desire to revisit. The interior is very dark and almost overly-large. I went on a weeknight and was sat in the middle of an empty dining room with lighting so dim I could barely see my boyfriend. The prices on the food were high and the quality was low. I could've made better chicken parmesan in my own kitchen.
It just ok Italian food...I will not be going back to this restaruant....I took my family for dinner (Wife and 2 Kids / No Wine or Beer) and it cost me over $40 per person..
The food was way over priced....I have been to Italy and didn't pay that much for the food....
Please do yourself a favor...don't go to Italian Affair in Glassboro!!!
Mostly, this is a very good restaurant. I have eaten at IA at least a dozen times over the years and at times it has been hit and miss, but mostly a hit. The gnocci in cream sauce is excellent as it most if their pasta dishes. Everything else I've tried from the menu is good. The wine selection is very good and getting better. There is always room to improve at Italian Affair, and as long as they (Guisseppe) continues to do so, I will continue to eat there. Ciao!
Food was not great for the price. I've had better Italian food at other places.
One of the waiters was extremely rude to a fellow waiter, which I thought was inappropriate. Service was a little slow.
I would not come here again.
For years I have NEVER been disappointed with IA. I have bee going there since my college days when it was 'just another pizza joint'. It has grown to so much more and I am happy for the family. Good food comes with patience and that is sometimes the downfall with IA. Come with a empty stomach and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We always get a kick with the piano bar. Staff is equal the warmth. South Jersey needs more places like Italian Affair.
