This is a very popular (and noisy) place, and the staff appears to be young and inexperienced. I was served a burnt and completely inedible piece chicken parmesan (how on earth did the kitchen send this out?) I had to leave the table and search for my waiter to point this out. Secondly, the tomato sauce on the pasta was nothing more than unseasoned canned tomatoes; I could not eat my pasta. Not once did the waiter come over to us after taking our order and I had to search for him again him for the check. Extremely noisy place- the busboys slam dishes on the tables as they set them. Bad overall experience.
I moved to NJ from NY a year ago and haven't found a satisfactory pizza here yet, until this place. I have tried dozens of places and found the general quality of pizza around the Leonia/Fort Lee/Pal Park/Englewood area to be sub-par.
The pizza is excellent, and they seem to give you more than what you ask for. Generous toppings portions, fresh ingredients (esp the mozzarella cheese), and the fastest delivery times I've ever experienced add up to a great experience.
I live 2.5miles from this place, and the pizza came within 20 minutes of my phone call. Most places deliver in 30-40min.
My only warning is that it costs a little more than your average pizza place, but in my opinion it is money *very* well spent.
Kudos to you Cassie Pizza, you've just found yourself a lifetime customer.
