Sicilian Sun Ristorante & Pzz, Ho-Ho-Kus

Simply the best! Been going there for close to 30 years and it's like being invited to mommas for dinner. I travel most weeks and often come back on Fridays and the Sun is my first choice. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had anywhere and I actually get a call from the owners to let me know when they have them on the menu. The nicest family run ristorante you will ever hope to find in North Jersey or maybe anywhere!

I've lived close to this restaurant for over 20 years and never gone. Then another couple suggested the 4 of us go-they love it. Wonderful food-calamari is excellent-terrific chicken dishes-my husband loves the seafood. Desserts are very good. Thought the tomato and mozarella appetizer was a bit chintzy (but good). Service is fine. I've gone there 3 times in the past few months. It is a tad pricey but that's because we can't resist the appetizers, which adds to the price.

I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time. Even when I moved a few towns away, I still made a point to come here as much as I could.

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants in New Jersey. Their atmosphere is very cozy, and their food is unbelieveably fantastic! The food was a bit pricy, although, but is was worth every penny. I was truly blown away by the authentic Italian quality of the food. Im definately coming back when I'm in the area!

My finance and I are new to the area and stopped in to the Sicilian Sun the other night for dinner. It was our first time in the establishment and it will not be the last! We were always curious about the place and had noted several people going in and out so, one night we decided to pop in. We had the stuffed mushroom caps appetizer to start and they were excellent! Their Chicken French was OUTSTANDING and my finance had a homemade pasta special with crab meat that was also FANTASIC. Our server was most attentive and the place although a bit quaint is TOP NOTCH. We’ve since tried the brick oven pizza and have found that to be excellent as well. Overall, it’s a GREAT VALUE and a GREAT PLACE for dinner.

Fabulous food, wonderful people. A gem close to downtown Ridgewood. Been going there over 20 years and I've never had a bad meal. Frank and his brothers run a high quality, reasonably price establishment with the best Italian food I've ever had. The lasagna, baked ziti and pizza are without equals. I'm going tomorrow night! You can't go wrong, enjoy!

I dined at the Sicilian Sun a year ago and have been a regular customer since. The atmosphere is casual and lively, the waiters and host/hostess are warm and friendly, and I have never had better food. From delicious homemade soups and pastas to unsurpassed veal, chicken, and seafood dishes to crunchy, thin crust pizza - the Sicilian Sun is the ultimate dining experience.
