Restaurant Valenca, Elizabeth

This restaurant should have two ratings, one for the food which is exquisite and one for the service that SUCKS! Pedro the manager forgot one of our order and the order of one of my kids (6 years old) which had to wait last to get his food. Also this guy not only is not apologetic but he fights with you telling you that you are wrong. Maybe we are accustomed to high end restaurant where if the client complain a bit for sure they apologize with you and offer another bottle of wine or dessert. This “so called manager” is rude, unprofessional (instead of serving our table he was doing business with another couple for a baptism party) and he even raised his voice at us. It’s unfortunate that such a great food shall be managed by such a bad person…..i really believe that this restaurant will close soon because him.

Steak on the stone is AMAZING!! Believe me, there is no smoke that annoys other patrons. The rice, potato chips and garlic shrimp appetizer was great too!!

OK, so the service is slow. Get over it! The steak on a stone is amazing! Don't bother with anything else on the menu, go for the stone!!!

steak on a stone,its good but understand its indoors if you have just 2 tabeles having that thay smoke you outitsuncomfertabal wen your eating and you hafto smell berning meat.....thay should have some considaration fore the other paying costemes! P.Spardon my spelling

Outstanding menu and service; generous portions at very reasonable prices. Their (red) Sangria is exceptional. FIVE Stars!

Although Food is Good. Service Sucks. They need to be more accomodating. These Barmaids/Bartenders should really be more friendlier to those who dont speak their language.

This is definitely five star cuisine. The staff was GREAT, the food was GREAT, and the Sangria was AMAZING!. I highly recommend this place for those who wish to dine with friends/loved ones and enjoy the time spent.

Service is hit or miss. I really like the chicken, rice and fries and love the shrimp in garlic appetizer. When i get my entree I always pour the left over garlic sauce over the rice, very tasty:)
