I ve been going to Mulberry Street for quite some time now and all I have to say is this place is GREAT! The food is always amazing. The service is exquisite. The prices are reasonable for what your getting. And the decor is what you d expect from a fine Italian restaurant. Plus the owner is always involved to make sure every customer has an excellent dining experience.
I went there the other night for drinks with friends expecting just another bar. But much to my surprise this place was a real classy restaurant. The service was fantastic and the desserts were fabulous. I cant wait to to go back! Right now Mulberry Street is an A+ in my book
When it comes to Italian food I try to stay out of New Jersey and stay local in my area. But a couple of nights ago I found myself over the bridge and hungry. So I check the reviews of the local restaurants and decided to give Mulberry Street a chance. Upon entering I found myself greeted by not only the staff but the owner too had personally introduced himself. He was a friendly gentleman that seemed genuinely passionate and extremely knowledgeable about his line of work. This demeanor also carried over to the staff, when I asked the waitress for a recommendation of what to order. She advised that I maybe try one of the house specials with a recommended wine pairing. That was probably the best advice I had heard all day. I had the most delicious Osso Bucco that was complimented perfectly by a fabulous Tuscan wine. The best dining experience I ve had In Jersey. If your in the area I must recommend Mulberry Street, you wont be disappointed.
I m a local from the area and this is the perfect hidden gem of fine dining especially if you want to impress a date. Mulberry Street is my go to place for first dates period. The service is exquisite, the food is amazing, and atmosphere is best combination of high end dining mixed with quit low key intimate setting. This place is a must if you want to impress your special someone without looking like your trying too hard. Trust me
This is a great place for any holiday or special occasion. So far Ive been to Mulberry Street for Christmas Eve, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, countless birthdays and any other excuse my family could come up with just to go back. We all agree, we love this place. Between my whole family and myself we have probably tried the entire menu and we have yet to taste anything bad. Everything always comes out delicious and in impeccable time. The only waiting Ive done at Mulberry Street is for the occasional table and its well worth it considering the house specials seem to be updated constantly with new meals you wont find anywhere else and unique twists on classic favorites. Regardless of when in the year you go there, your gonna find something on that menu you just love.
I went there a weeks ago with friends for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We usually found it hard to find good Italian cuisine in this area and most times we would just end up at the local Olive Garden which is consistently mediocre at best. However this time we decided to try Mulberry Street for a change of pace. And WOW was that a great decision! Not only was the service and atmosphere very pleasant and incredibly friendly, we actually met the owner as he was going around checking on all the tables to make the meals came out to everyone s delight. This was something we have never experienced before at any change restaurant. Not only that but the food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. With great food and great service its no contest Mulberry Street beats Olive Garden and is hands down the superior Italian restaurant in this area.
Went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. The veal that I had was very tasty and tender as was my husbands shrimp dish. Everything was on point from the food to the service. We will definitely be back soon.
I love this place. I stopped in for drinks during their happy hour after work last Friday (they have two happy hours 4:30-6:30 and 9:00 - 11:00). The atmosphere was really friendly, the bar tender was really sweet. I think she might be related to the owner. She suggested a wine based on what I told her I liked, allowed me to sample it which I thought was a nice touch, since I only ordered a glass. Later that night when my friends came in we chose to eat at the bar. We were all very impressed at the level of service and the food. They don't offer a bar menu, it is the same as the dining room menu. The specials were outragous. We stuck around for desserts, which were amazing. Kate, the bar tender also suggested after dessert drinks. I had the chocolate raspberry truffletini, it was fantastic!
The Sunday night special is awesome. The homemade soups - to die for. Entree was delicious. Our table tried two desserts both tasted and were homemade. Service was wonderful, attentive but not pushy. Great place to eat and socialize. TV's on but not so overpowering that talking was impossible.
