Went there Friday night for the first time. I thought it was a nice place, wasn't very crowded (more females than males), but I did enjoy myself. Had a martini for $9, and beer I think was $5? No cover charge, nice staff, and though I didn't eat, my friends told me that the food is excellent there. Valet parking no charge, just tips.
I would go there again. Also, FYI I am 36, most people there were mid to late 20's. Music was also very modern, most stuff you hear on the radio.
DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE! HORRIBLE. We went to Euro last night for dinner (Sept. 2010). The food was awful, the water tasted like bleach and the service was poor. When we arrived the hostess told us she would accept the $25 Restaurant.com coupon which we purchased on line. However when the bill came - the manager then said he would not accept the Restaurant.com coupon and refused to honor it. They are false advertising on Restarant.com and making people pay for a $25. gift certificate and then they won't honor it after you eat and you receive your bill. They are frauds and the food is lousy at best. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.
We went there 9/10/10 because we had a coupon from restaurant.com. Thinking we were doing justice to those who helped stimulate the economy we went there. Shame on them!! The Chilean Sea Bass was bland and the split pea soup was watered down by lipton noodle soup (my opinion) at best. When we went to pay using the coupon from restaurant.com which was the reason we tried them in the first place and they refused to honor it we realized then that it was a scam. The food was horrible and they did not honor the coupon, told us that the manager said they were no longer accepting the gift certifciates. What a scam!! We will never eat there again nor would we ever recommend this place. Don't eat there...try pizza margherita down the street...byo and so much better!!!
My husband & I found the Eurocafe about 2 years ago and we are totally hooked on this wonderful Iberian/Euro restaurant! It is a club also and from the looks of the parking lot late in the evening it is a very happening club but we are little to old for the club scene. So my review is pertaining to the restaurant only. We generally are leaving the restaurant about when the club is starting to get lively.
OMG what a wonderful dining experience! The owner and attentive staff perfectly compliment the absolutely delicious menu! The black angus steak is to die for. You'd be hard pressed to find a better tasting steak cooked and seasoned to perfection in the entire Metro NYC area. The garlic tappas shrimp is another favorite of ours. We love it so much that they do it up as an entree for us. Their baked clams are very tasty. They have wonderful specials and an extensive tappas menu. The menu has a nice mix for seafood lovers, carnivores like me, and veggie fans. The entrees are reasonably priced, the portions generous, and the quality consistantly high. Their soup is so tasty that we even order it in the summer. My husband who has very strong dislikes has enjoyed soups here that he would not dream of eating anywhere else. The entrees are served with soup or salad and fresh tasty rolls. I can't really tell you about their desserts because we are always too full to try them.
What I enjoy seeing most is that each customer feels like they are a valued and welcomed. You leave feeling good about the entire dining experience, often with a doggie bag. The Euro Cafe has a customer appreciation club so they will mail you coupons to show their appreciation for your patronage if you sign up. If you love the Euro as much as I know you will please tell Manny that you saw Mare's review. This way if I have to wait for a table I will know why.
