Villa Amalfi Ristorante, Cliffside Park

We dined (table of 4) at Villa Amalfi on 2-26. Buyer beware!!! Our appetizers were good and the salad was great. Our entre was Chateaubriand which was ordered medium-rare. It arrived medium well. I alerted our waiter who did absolutely nothing about it. It was far too well done for me to eat.. It was neither removed from the check nor was a substitute offered to us. When the check arrived I complained again. He threw up his arms and said I must speak to the maitre 'd. I did. He argued with me (I thought the customer was supposed to be right). We ended up getting a $10 credit (a desert and 2 coffees) for a $65 dinner that was inedible. The restaurant was mediocre at best. $150 for a dinner that we didn't even take home for the dogs!!! If I were giving out ratings it would get 1 star!
