Not the cheapest place to go - but well worth the price. BYOB. I had the gorgonzola topped t-bone for $34 and my boyfriend had a spicy chicken/sausage and potato dish. He loved his dinner - he asked for hot peppers and was pleasantly surprised to get very hot peppers. My steak, mashed potatoes and french-fried onions were all tasty. The service here was OUTSTANDING! There was always someone close by with water, etc. but they didn't hover too much so as to be annoying. We didn't have a reservation but arrived at 5:15 - parking is valet only. I don't know if reservations are needed for later on Saturday nights. They had a Sunday evening special noted on a board - 3 or 4 courses of spaghetti for $19.95 - I'll definitely be trying that.
The diningroom is long with wood paneling. We were there early, at that time there were couples as well as families with young children - but I didn't hear any noise from the children . Background noise was sufficient to not easily overhear other diners but not too loud for easy conversation.
