Painted Pony Restaurant, Bethlehem

Just went to a bridal shower here and I was surprised by how much this place has changed since I ve been here last. The food came quickly and I got London Broil which was excellent! Our party server was great. Would definitely come here again with my family!

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and every time its fantastic. Food is good comfort food with large portions (split a meal or have plenty of leftovers to take home). I got the smallest prime rib, but they have one that is 40 oz! Decor used to be okay, but they have changed a lot in the past few years and remodeled. Bar area is always full with lots of TVs and music. We went on a Thursday night, sat in the bar and listened to a great band and enjoyed our meal. This place has plenty to offer at a decent price.

Decided to try this restaurant on Thursday 9/24/09. Never again! We had friends up from PA. I ordered the Prime Rib(Sizzler). So dry, tough, no taste. I could not finish it. My wife ordered stuffed shrimp. So dry, tough, no taste, she could not finish it. Our guest had angel hair with shrimp and scallops. The scallops were rancid. My daughter had a veggie wrap and enjoyed it. One out of four is not good. With so many great eating places in Woodbury and Watertown(Oakville), I would pick another restaurant to spend my money. The service was very good I might add. Sorry, but I am being honest. I was also warned ahead of time but wanted to find out for myself.

Yuck! After the much publicized septic sewage problems, we do not go there anymore. Boring, stale menu prepared by ????? To be avoided.
