Mike's Apizza & Restaurant, West Haven

anytime I want a great thin crusted pizza I go to Mikes.Everybody has great pizza places to go to,but this has been my favorite one for the past 5 or 6 years.I'm always looking for a better place but have not found one that beats Mike's.I plan on going there tonight/with anchovies please

we've eaten at Mike's several times and everytime we order pizza it's burnt with black bubbles on the crust. tonight we order a couple pizza's to go and when we got it home it has parmesan cheese on it. we DO NOT like parm cheese on our pizza. I called them to ask why all of a sudden they are put parm cheese on it and the snot faced witch that answered the phone said the ALWAYS put parm cheese on the pizza unless we tell them not to. that's is a lie. we've NEVER had parm cheese baked in the pizza before until tonight. we are so disappointed. she never even appologized or anything just kept saying over and over we always put parm cheese on the pizza. guess we will go elsewhere for our pizza from now on

I grew up in WH and have tried them all including Pepes & Sallys. I now live 50+ miles away and we occasionally ( as ofton as we can) make the trip for these special treats. Mikes is still the best anywhere. True the crust and bottom sometimes are burnt but the flavor and texture of the pie is unmatched

Mike's Apizza makes a great pie but you might have to wait an hour or more if you want it on a weekend and sometimes its a bit over cooked.

Hands down! The best pie in West Haven. I've grown up in W.H. eating at Mike's. Now I live in Milford and drive to Mike's because I know I'm going to get a great meal. Keep up the good work guys! Thank You!

My family & I attended West Haven's Italian Street Festival yesterday. I thought everything was fine, except for Mike's Apizza. In the past, my husband & I have eaten at Mike's, and several times we were served burnt pizza. Well, yesterday at the festival convinced us that we will no longer be customers of Mike's. At the festival, we ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza & were presented with the BLACKEST pizza I've ever seen. I asked the woman who served us for 2 other slices, and she responded to me that all the slices were burnt like that. Eventually, we received 2 proper slices. What a disgrace Mike's Apizza is! Shame on them! In these times, you would think they would do their best to please their customers. How could the cooks & wait staff serve such garbage??? My family & I will go to Andy's Pizza or Reno's or anywhere where we are treated properly.
