El Amigo Felix, New Haven

My friends and I were looking for great, authentic Mexican food in New Haven. By recommendation of a work acquaintance, we were directed to El Amigo Felix. Needless to say, it was so good we plan on going back this Friday to sample other entrees from the menu. THe food was simple, downhome Mexican faire -- very well seasoned and quite filling. Be careful not to fill up on the fantastic salsa and chips!! We did! Note that if you order sodas, your first refill is FREE, the second refill is the same price as ordering another beverage. In closing, a note on the proportions, be prepared to take home the remainder of your meal, as they're humongous and filling!!
