Bangkok Garden Restaurant, New Haven

The food at this restaurant is excellent, however, the waitresses are rude and unaccommodating. They think they are better than their customers, they will not smile and barely utter one word to the customers. When we asked if we could move our table to a quiter spot the waitress gave us a look of horror...there were very few people in the restaurant at the time and many tables were available. She agreed to move us but made sounds to let us know she felt we were bothering her.

I've been a patron of this establishment for years and have ALWAYS enjoyed the great food I do give it a 5 star. This week I visited with my Mom my dish was wonderful however, my Mom ordered a dish with rice and beef in which the beef was so over cooked she couldn't eat it. The waitress was told about this and said she would tell the chef. No one came to the table in regards to this issue. When the waitress came with the check we asked for my Moms left overs except for the beef to be wrapped to go. I looked to see if anything was taken off the bill but nothing was. I thought maybe the chef made some fresh beef to put into the to go dish but when Mom got home she said no. I'm so dissapointed that any establishment would ignore this issue it is NOT good customer service. I'm not sure if I will return there in future. :(

Almost all dishes are too sweet. Waitresses barely respond to customers. There are a few other Thai restaurants in the same area. This one is below average.

Their chicken pad thai is incredible, and the prices are low. It gets quite busy on weekends, so you can also place orders over the phone to pick up. Very convenient.

All the food at Bangkok Gardens is wonderful, but the drunken noodles and the spicy curries are particularly fabulous. With reasonable prices, as well as fast, friendly service and the best Thai dishes in New Haven, you really can't go wrong.

A favorite in New Haven. The kitchen is reliable in preparing favorite dishes. The service is great, no matter how little or much one orders, and the location is convenient. The owners or managers really know how to run a good restaurant.

I love the place. My husband and I go there every weekend. But not everything is great there, you need to be smart about what you order. Chicken dishes are generally mediocre, Pad Thai is so so, but drunken noodles, soups, and basil dishes are amazing. Never order sticky rice with mango there, but please oh please order the tiramisu or the green tea ice cream.

This place had the best food and very good viarity of choices, most of all the atmosphere in the store with the native Thai employees really made it seem that I was actually dining in SouthEast Asia. This resturant really brought out my soul because my stomach was extremly statisfied with joy, it is the soul food of Asia. The Thai Icetea I enjoyed the most out of the beverages, I recomend the Goseene it is absolutely perfect in everyway and dont forget about the FRIED ICECREAM for dessert! ummm so tasty I recomend this place to anyone I know

I Love Bankok Garden!! It has the best food and service. Everyone is so friendly. The price is great not too expensive. The best dessert is the Fried Ice Cream. It's so good...Try it if you haven't..you won't regret it!

Great Food great service well worthwhile value for the money, It has really, really good ethnic Thai food and is really cheap you can eat dinner there for under twenty bucks
