"American Regional Cuisine" gives us thoughts of adventurous entrees with distinct attention to culinary art. No American region garners more attention than the unrivaled and authentic dishes of New Orleans. At Creative Cooking, Sunil creates his own blends of spices. They are not overbearingly hot. For Sunil, acoespices must be mixed in the right amounts, in the right combinations, never dominating each other, always enhancing flavor.ac It is fitting, therefore, that the following intriguing menu represents authentic .Cajun and Creole dishes with inventive and imaginative selections from its author, Sunil Malhotra.
whoa this is pretty bad. Run down looking spot. went for dinner and back peddled once we got in there and I immediately wanted to leave. But we forged forward. Mussels mamou had half the shells unopened. really why even put them in the broth? Gumbo way over congealed, the starch making it lumpy, not a good lumpy. We had enough and left. beer was cold though
Pleasant dining room and good service. The brunch is reasonably priced and includes a Mimosa; fun too making your omelet selection in the kitchen. Must say that the special omelet is yummy and worth the trip. Chef shines at the Cajun/New Orleans offerings; the other choices are acceptable. Personally speaking, I would prefer not using a styrofoam bowl or a plastic spoon for soup and would like to see that change. For dessert lovers beware. None are offered at the brunch buffet but are extra .
If you want frozen food like you see in a store this is the place to go to. I was so upset of the place. the only good thing they have is its a nice place. The Food was awful talk about cold and looking bad. Had the talpia tasted like it was from the store in a box had no taste. The rest of the dinner was bad not hot just like a cold warm. And the prices are so high for what you got. This places need to go down south and see real cooking.I been to a lot of places and Even the New Deal SteakHouse and that is a good place to go for fun. And good food. P.S The beer was good
I've eaten at this restaurant at least 25 times and have never had a negative experience. The food is terrific and the service attentive. It's a great place for a cozy get together with your loved one! And the bar is nice too (I don't get out late so can't say if it's a hoppin' place).
I highly recommend the Seafood Baton Rouge. My husband orders it at every visit. He loves it as do I.
MY FIRST TIME TO THE RESTAURANT, FOR MY BROTHERS RECEPTION DINNER AFTER HIS WEDDING............ I HAD THE SEAFOOD FILET.......OMG IS ALL I CAN SAY.....I WISH WE LIVED CLOSER BECAUSE I WOULD GO AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK........MY HUSBAND AND I ARE TELLING EVERYONE AT OUR WORK ABOUT THE PLACE AND WE ARE TELLING THEM THEY HAVE TO GO.......WE PLAN ON GOING BACK VERY SOON........NOW THIS IS OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT...........WOW...........ROSE
There isnt a thing on the menu that I dont salivate over. The ambience is fantastic and the service always top notch. The place has been newly renovated and looks fantasticly tasteful. The portions are large enough for big appetites, and for sharing romantically. Once one thing on the menu has been tried, then you cant wait to try the next thing. Their mixed drinks certainly not run of the mill and way above the standards of regular bars. There is no dissapointment ever! I will be there on a regular basis.
