I went to the Breakfast nook recently for the first time and found a wonderfully imaginatively menu choice, so much so that I couldn't make up my mind what to order I was just as excited when I tasted it. If your tired of the same old breakfast menus try the Nook they come up with many differant dishes in addition to the basics. I'm sure you'll be delighted...I also loved the beautifully decorated dining room and most friendly waitresses.
THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE FIRST REVIEW LISTED MUST BE ON MEDICATION - ( OR A JEALOUS COMPETITOR ) THERE IS NOT AN OUNCE OF TRUTH TO ANYTHING IN HIS WRITEUP. THE BREAKFAST NOOK IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE FOR BREAKFAST OR LUNCH - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS CHECK OUT THE PARKING LOT AND NOTE THE CUSTOMERS WAITING OUTSIDE FOR A TABLE ON SUNDAYS. THAT WOULD NOT BE THE CASE IF YOU READ HIS REVIEW. TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT I'M SURE
So someone didn't like my review and deleted it? The truth hurts I guess.
This place is terrible. Used to be great with the previous owners running it. Now that it's changed hands it has gone way down hill. You would expect a place called the Breakfast Nook would be able to make some eggs. Well I ordered eggs and they came out raw. Just what I like in the morning. Nice raw eggs.
They have decent corned beef hash. But it tastes like decent hash out of a can that's been spiced up a bit. Nothing stood out except for the french toast on Challah bread. That was good. But not as good as the caramel french toast that they used to serve.
Won't be going back to this place due to the food quality but also the service The waitress we had was very blunt and rude. Never even a hint of a smile on her face. But whatever I can look past that if the food was good.
The price was also VERY high. Something I don't agree with. Breakfast should be moderatly priced. But whatever. Go ahead and delete this comment too. Not going to change the fact that this restaurant is terrible.
I believe this restaurant is North Haven's own little secret. Great food and great service. The waitress makes it seem like she personally knows eveyone who comes in. My new favorite place. My other one is Grand apizza next door......
There is nothing like getting lost and finding the BEST little known secret in the world, I was looking around to go to a place for breakfast and got lost OMG..the first thing you notice is a friendly face, the food is out of this world.
