Stonebridge Restaurant, Milford

I wish I could say nice things about this place, but I can't. I stopped going there after three bad experiences in a row. I guess the food is good, but there's not a giant menu - fairly limited. It was the service that was poor. The manager was very rude to me on two occasions and the door man was worse. Some of the folks who work there are nice, but they are overshadowed by the poor management. Too bad, because it's looks nice during the summer. Not worth your money to be treated poorly.

I was at the Stonebridge Restaurant in Milford several weeks ago for a 75 person baby shower. I must say I was extremely disappointed and would never reccommend it to anyone for the following reasons: There was essentially no dessert, they put out about 10 pieces of cake and two very small plates of cookies on a table. Also when I asked the two servers if they could please replenish the dessert table they were texting on their cell phones in the small cubicle and did not pay attention to the party and what was going on. I then went to the hostess to ask why they were not paying attention and there was no dessert she said they were trying to figure something out in the kitchen. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I waited about 10 minutes and had to ask again, still the servers were in their cubicle texting and the hostess had no clue what was going on. When they finally put something out most of the people at the shower had already left. It seems after spending half of my life in the catering industry either my expectations are too high or the Stonebridge needs to be properly managed. What do you think? I would never reccommend it to anyone.

I think that the food is good here and thats it. It is awful in the summer a cover charge to get into a restaurant/bar that already has overpriced drinks. Come on now and the owner also owns Daniel Street which also has overpriced drinks at least the cover charge is understandable there.

My wife and I ate here our first night in Milford. The specials were excellent; they have a great wine list. We found the prices to be close to NY prices, but the food was worth it, and the atmosphere was very nice and warm. Our waitress was very friendly and well informed about the specials and the wine list. The desserts were also excellent. All in all it was a great dinning experience, a nice place to go for a special occasion with your someone special.

Be careful , the staff over charges for drinks outside on patio.

Pretty big place with large outside patio, good drinks usually a nice crowd of mixed ages. Staff at door really stiff. Get there early becuase all the parking lots fill quick. Good place to meet people wouldn't recommend for a date it gets really packed especially during the summer.

A friendly and fun atmoshpere each and every time!

A nice setting (downtown, by that historic bridge), but rude bouncers and a frat-boy type of scene.
