We support our local farmers and pride ourselves with a philosophy based on consistency, creativity, innovation and inspiration. Latitude 41 is truly a destination dining experience.
Went to Latitude 41 tonight for happy hour, $4.00 drinks and apps, can’t beat it, bartender Ashley is wonderful.
Stayed for dinner, food was the best we have experienced in Mystic and our server was lovely and very well educated.
Even the buss person was smiling, we rarely ever see buss people smile.
They are starting a date night next week, $29.00 menu looking forward to that.
Over all a great experience, the only issue is the Tavern was very cold, however the director of the company that owns Latitude 41, I forget his name, offered my wife his cashmere coat. Now that costumer service.
We will be going back often
When Coastal Gourmet took over the old Seamens Inn operation, and transformed it into Latitude 41 to be honest we were impressed with the change of dacor and the numerous facility improvements.
However we were not as impressed with the food or service, it was always a hit or miss.
However since October we have dined there more often and most recently Saturday evening and have not been let down yet. The food is exceptional and the servers are friendly, warm and professional.
We highly recommend the lobster pasta dishes and the new desserts and to die for.
Finally Mystic has a place on the water that is not a tourist trap and the money spent actually equates to a great meal.
We had a gift card for the Seaman's Inn but they were not there any longer this place was. Glad that they took this card because if we had to spend our money on this place, OMG. It was horrible, food was cold when it arrived, it tasted terrible!!! The only thing that was nice about this place was our server, she was very caring. We will never eat here again. We have some money left on the gift card and that will probably be tossed. Sorry to say it was a complete disaster. I never write reviews and I had to this time.
The 'Local Burger'-quite possibly the best hamburger ever. Made from beef from a nearby farm. The beef is incredibly flavorful-and with just a minimal amount of seasoning. Bar staff was competent, informative and on top of things. What more can one ask? We'll be back.
As patrons of the previous operator, we were impressed by the facility upgrade at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and the quality of the wait staff was significantly improved. However, the meal was disappointing. We found the portions to be small even though we usually order a petite portion. The prices were definitely on the high side. Food quality was average or slightly above average.
All the servers, bartenders and hostesses were VERY nice! The raw bar is delicious and the atmosphere is great, beautiful setting. The food was very good, portions a little small and service a little slow. If you are on vacation and not in a hurry, a great place to go for dinner!
Wedding Review: The staff was friendly. New cattering company does not have the act together. They served ice cold Filet Migon and it was really fatty meat (i.e. cheap meat). The time line was really slow. It was a 30 wait from the time I finished the salad to the next course. Everything is great about this place except the quality of meat, the temperature of the meat and speed of getting the food out. It's to bad, such a nice place besides that.
