My family and I are regulars here at minimum three times a week. I m am very thankful that Brooklyn finally has a restaurant that has great food and very cozy atmosphere that time after time has been Very consistent. Worth a try hands down, great value, great service, busy place tells all. NY style pizza is fantastic. My favorite is thier sautes they put on special, awesome Veal Cutlet with tasty garlic knots, & very cold beer! May look like your average pizza joint from outside but you will step inside a very relaxing atmosphere. My wife loves the candle light dining. Sum it up, food is very delicious and well prepared, servers know us by name, owners very polite and very involved which makes the restaurant a success in my book! Oh can t wait for winter to get me some of her chili (Dawn one of the owners) wow best chili I ever had!
The food is inconsistent - sometimes great and sometimes horrible. The service is horrendous. The first time we ordered delivery, they only delivered half the order and took 20 minutes to bring the other half. And we live less than 3 miles away. The most recent time, the driver drove 15 minutes in the wrong direction and called to say he couldn t find our address. So a simple order on a slow Wednesday night ended up taking an hour and a half. This will be the last time we spend our money here.
I have to say originally from NY this little place is as close as is gets to good ny style pizza, none of the pizza places in this area can compete....And the food, all I can say is wow, their sautes r truly delicious and worthy of praise. These people know what their doing. Congrats to the new owners, this food actually taste like home and service is great. Some evenings r real busy and may have to wait a bit for dinner but for this food it's every bit worth the wait. Soups r superb! Garlic knots & a glass of wine, I'm in heaven, this is what this town needed, so much more than great pizza, thanks again!
The food is good but overpriced, and the service is terrible. I called in for takeout, and when I got there my order had been lost and I had to wait thirty minutes. The next time I called in they said my order would be ready in thirty minutes. When I got there they said it would be ready in five minutes. Thirty minutes later I had my food...total time one hour. Also, they don't have takeout menus even though they have a takeout business. To me that is inexcusable. Until they fix things I'll take my business elsewhere.
