A fun and festive dining experience awaits you at this Spanish Mediterranean restaurant with a bar, banquet facilities, and a deli speciality store. Serving lunch Tuesday through Friday and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
Four of went for dinner. We had a mussel appetizer, pig stomach appetizer (truthfully, I was surprised how excellent this was), and 2 had salads. All were excellent. Three of us split a seafood paella and one had a chicken dish. Again, all excellent. We had flans and rice pudding for dessert. Again, excellent. We also had various drinks and Spanish beer. All were very good. The service was very good without being fauning or intrusive. No question that they deserved 5 stars. We will definately go back.
This is the real deal. If you want the real paella, sangria, or other Spanish dish, this is the place. Owned and run by a true Galician,(northwest province in Spain) this restaurant will not dissapoint you.
Costa Del Sol is the BEST Spanish food from Spain you will get anywhere in Connecticut. Very clean and professional. You get what you pay for. And don't forget to stop in there deli and buy some cheese ham and all sorts of goodies. I went to Barcelona's over in West Hartford. They will tell you that most there food is tappas. You got to buy a lot of tappas to feel satisfied. They don't serve enough food to feed a mouse. Did I mention you'll go broke? Another place to stay away from is La Casona. They used to have good food. Lately the Kitchen staff can't cook. YUCK
My Boyfriend and I took his mom there to eat last night along with our four kids. The place was nice the service was ok. The waitress was little snooty. They were very overpriced, they automatically added an 18% tip which was not deserved. I would not recommend it.
