I have heard a lot of good things about Roma's and I have to say, I was not impressed. Some of the food was good. The sauce was very good. We had asked for some olive oil for our bread and we were told that they were out of that kind of olive oil, though, clearly, they had bottles of it for sale. Not really sure why they couldn't open one. Also, one of our guest had requested a side of bread crumbs to put on top of her pasta. We were told that they don't have any. All they have are crushed Ritz Crackers. This was very surprising. How did they bread the chicken for the chicken parm? Did they use Ritz for that? Or are the chicken cutlets not made fresh? What was also surprising is that an Italian restaurant that didn't serve espresso. Finally the sound system was playing the same song over and over.
We traveled about 20 minutes to try this place which was highly recommended. Bottom line is - if you like mediocore Italian food, it's OK, but I wouldn't waste my time going back.
