Morton's the Steakhouse - Hartford, Hartford

Went there last night for anniversary it was the best, treated like a king and queen, food the best ever. Go for special occasion. Had our name on menu and photo taken complementary, you don't get anything free now a days. LOVED IT.GO it is a MUST.

We had a party of 8 and needless to say it was an expensive night out but everyone agreed it was the best steak and shrimp we ever enjoyed with great service and drinks. I would go back without question. The valet parking was fine also. The wine we paid 40 dollars for we found for 10 in the store but hey, you got to have wine with your meal right?

This place is the tops for so-so food at fantastic prices. A dollop of crab appetizer (incredibly small) for $13.99; my New York Strip was cooked medium though I asked for medium-rare--at $44.00 a crack they should take more care. Evereything us way overpriced, including the wine, liquor and desserts. This place wasn't any better than a Chuck's Steak House. Save your money.

From the beginning to the end not impressed from the service to the food. Only a party of 4, both with baby sitters, if you have a good 3 hours to spend on chatting and expensive mediocre food, then maybe. I order medium rare, my wife medium well and hers was dripping red and mine was slightly pink and dry. Maybe it was an off night, but with all the other options out there, we will not be going back. Yes they tried to wow us with free desserts and drinks, but we went there for the steak.

Morton's is definitely a 'you won't be disappointed' dining experience. The steaks, the lobsters, the wine, and 'Oh my goodness' the dessert... it all works together to make for a delightful experience. They are truely masters in the art of great steak. Of course, it all comes with an 'I'm glad this one in on the company' price. Don't worry though... when the cheescake-induced sugar coma kicks in, you won't have a care in the world. Enjoy!
