American Flatbread, Middlebury

Visiting Middleburg for a week. This is the best and only good meal other than Swift House breakfast we have had all week. Service was a little weak but the food was amazing.

Best food around! They are open during the week now, so the wait is not such an issue.

This is one of the most unique pizza's I've ever had. Although they don't call it pizza, the creative method by which they combine various locally grown ingredients and make the flatbread taste great. The pizza sauce is also very fresh

After a 4 hour hike, American Flatbread hit the spot! They have so many unique toppings and combinations - and all of it turns out delicious. We had the vegetarian special of the day with diced golden russet sweet potatoes, diced beets, and ricotta cheese - amazing!!!!!

American Flatbread is by far my favorite restaurant in Middlebury. I enjoy the casual dining experience & the great pizza. They also offer organic sodas and drinks. Definitely try this restaurant!

Flatbread in Middlebury if by far the supreme flatbread experience. Though it gets busy (we had to wait about an hour for a table), the hostess' were welcoming and caring, and the bartender was extremely nice, knowledgable, and in control, even though he was very very busy, and great with our children. Excellent place. I highly recommend it.

American Flatbread offers amazing pizza options which are oven baked right in front of your eyes in a peaceful, relaxing environment. Flatbread uses locally grown food and always provides delicious dining.

Even though it's Flatbread and not pizza it's still the best pizza from here to Chicago.

The pizza is the best. With the use of local products it also helps our local economy. usually long wait after 5:30 or 6 pm. only open friday and saturday makes crowds larger.

American Flatbread is eye candy for the rustic diner! Their use of local ingredients and out of this world pizza crust are a tantalizing coupling. Add to that a wonderful selections of seasonal local beers and wine choices from all over the world. Don't miss the homemade pies warmed in the fire before your eyes, and talk to the peolpe preparing your food about all the local happenings. It's a fantastic "local" feel kind of place where even an outsider is eagerly welcome! We have 4 children and met friends with 3 children of their own. Although the wait was 45 minutes it was well worth it and the bar/waitstaff was very accomidating to our needs for drinks and snacks for the kids. I would highly recommend this to families and folks looking for a good fun night out.
