A & W Restaurant
Remember the days when great-tasting food was made-to-order with quality ingredients and always served up with a frosty mug and a warm smile? Well, those days have never left at your favorite A&W Restaurant. We still make our burgers, hots dogs, french fries, onion rings and, of course, our famous A&W Root Beer the way you like it, the way you remember. So come enjoy the place and the tastes that'll bring you back.
We celebrated July 4th, 2010 with a visit to the last remaining A&W restaurant in the state of Vermont. My wife and I have gone to A&W restaurants since we were children in the 1960’s. This was an A&W in the truest sense. The Car hop service was great, and the place was well maintained and very busy. The food was hot; the Papa burgers were tasty especially with the freshly cut lettuce, tomato, and onion!!! The Root beer still has that one-of-a-kind A&W flavor that we have known for over 40 years. Our waitress was a really super nice gal. If you’ve never been to an A&W the food is prepared to order and worth the wait. A great American tradition!!!
My advice to any who visit, relax, shut off your engine, lower your windows and let the summer air and music from the car hop wash over you. It’s the best.
