Awful. Our server was inattentive and the wait for our meal was forever. Someone in my party ordered the French Dip and found it unsatisfactory. The meat was overly rare (even for a French Dip) and cold. The plate was set aside and the waitress never once inquired as to why a full plate was not being eaten and was instead off to the side of the table. When we finally told her about the problem, her only offer was to take it back to the kitchen and reheat it in the microwave. A bite had been taken out the sandwich and it is definitely against health code to take an item that has been eaten at all back into your kitchen. When we declined this offer that was apparently the end of it. No refund. When we protested paying for something that was inedible we were argued with. Told that we declined the offer to have it microwaved and that it was now our fault, health code be damned. We asked for a manager and were surprised when we were met with the same arrogance and blatant disregard for our satisfaction as customers. The bottom line, you better like your food because you re going to have to pay for it no matter what.
This place used to be very, very good. The food was tasty and service was decent. I don't know what happened but the place has really gone downhill starting a few years ago. Yesterday we stopped for lunch and what a mistake. When we walked in the place had that old crease smell. One of the "regulars" called out "just sit anywhere...she'll get to ya!" That should have been the tip off and we should have left.
The burger i had tasted off, the fish & chips another member of out party had was so bland you could tell it was suffering from freezer burn and the sandwich the last member of our party had was cold. (It was supposed to be a hot beef sandwich.) French fries tasted of old grease. Sad, because this place used to be so good. Over-priced for what it was and nasty.
My husband and I were on a get-a-way weekend. We asked around for a local place to eat and Patricia's came up. We found it to be a casual, family place. We are not fancy folk, and the menu of burgers and chicken was what we were looking for. They were busy on a Friday night, so we waited for a seat, but you do that anywhere. We thought it was a good time and look forward to when we are up this way again.
I came to Patricia's Restaurant with my family this past week and I was very pleased with the food and the service I received.
We were greeted immediately and seated within minutes. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. Our meals were incredible and reasonably priced too!!! The dessert was divine! A genuine home town feeling!
I am from CT where you get a electronic device to tell you when you can be seated ( usually a long time away) and once you are seated they rush you through your meal.
At Patricia's I was able to relax and enjoy a great meal and spend time with my family!
I would definitely recommend Patricia's Restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed familiar atmosphere and an incredible meal that is worth every penny!
I only wish I lived closer so that I could come more often!
Small family style atmosphere, affordable for a nice family dinner, friendly staff. It takes a while to get your food if it is busy, simple menu, and lack of parking due to downtown location.
