Sal's Italian Rstrnt & Pzzr, Rutland

We are vegetarian, they have so many options (get this other resturants! there are other items outside of the same old salads & eggplant parm!) My husband's fav is Pasta, brocc with garlic sauce! I love everything I get! Our son loves the kids menu too!

Food was good but the service was poor. Unwelcoming and unfriendly server that made the dinner unpleasant. We will not eat there again.

I live in Rutland, and Sal's is my favorite Italian Restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and service is wonderful.

I am a local to the Rutland area and this my favorite Italian restaurant. I love the eggplant Parmesan and the shrimp scampi is excellent. Price are reasonable with good portions.

this place has some of the best italian food in Rutland area and beyond, have NEVER had a bad meal here in over 20+ years of patronage! Been going there since i was a kid and now that im back it's good to see the the quality hasn't changed. They love garlic, I love garlic, if you love garlic youre all set. Great pizza, pasta, salads, and don't forget the Pasta Fazhol soup! Yummy! Grab a delcious tap beer or one of their homemade soda's while you are there too! MMM sal's!

The dish I had was nothing I'd ever heard of before but it was really, really good! The service, however, was not. Hopefully it was just an off night. We were rarely checked on and no one was around when we needed anything. I wanted another beverage but by the time she got back, we had to request the check or we would have been late for our show. Again, the food was very good.

Sal's is a wonderful restaurant. It is old school Italian, which is hard to find in today's ocean of lame mega-chain restaurants. The food is great, the atmosphere warm and comfortable ; and the price is right. Ask anyone in Rutland where great Italian food is,. and the name Sal's WILL come up

One the best Italian places here in town. With good prices and choices, its one of my first choices.

Cockroaches are known in the restaurant business, but not as many as I have seen here.
