McCarthy's Restaurant, Stowe

I personally love this place, It"s great food and Jill is the best!

This IS the best breakfast in Stowe! I've been to multiple places and McCarthy's is my favorite way to end a weekend here!

Absolutely fantastic. No matter when you go the place is jammed. Varied menu with all kinds of egg omelets. Lots of home baked goods. When you leave there, they can roll you out the door-you are so stuffed and content. On St. Pat's Day- you can't get near the place!

This is our favorite place for breakfast or lunch. Unfortuntately this is usually on our way out of town to go home from vacation. The eggs are awesome.

Fooled by the 'best breakfast in Stowe' and 'locals favorite' advertising I tried this place an few times and let me tell you it is neither. I ordered a western omelet and got a round 'formed' egg thing with a few semi raw vegetables tossed on top. It was literally the worst 'omelet' that I've ever had. In fact I can even call it an omelet. I've had better eggs out of a microwave. The house special hash was mushy and almost unedible. I would never bother with this place again. Stowe is generally pretty bad with regard to breakfast places and this is the prime example. The best breakfast I've had in Stowe was at the Gables and I would try there first if you're looking for breakfast around here.
