Pie in the Sky, Stowe

Haven't been there recently, but ate there a number of times in the past. GOdd pizza, good service.

Service was great. Excellent staff food was good. Just remember once you leave new York, do not expect the same quality pizza. But very satisfied. Great place for the family.

MRusso's review was totally unjust and not the norm for Pie In The Sky ! The service is normally impeccable and the food beyond excellent ! My partner whose eaten Italian all over the U.S. says Pie's Stromboli is The Best he's ever eaten ! Their spaghetti and meat balls and pizzas are way beyond great ! I also love their calzones ! The staff is very efficient and kind ! They go out of their way to make sure beverages are refilled and you are satisfied with every aspect of your visit ! Don't accept one word of Mrusso's bad review ! It must be a one off experience as we eat there regularly and every time is a great experience !!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible service. We waited over 45 minutes to get an appetizer. Then another 45 minutes for our pizza to come out. To top it off they didn't get the order right, they added a topping and charged us for it. We were not the only table with problems, every table around us was complaining that something was wrong with their order. The pizza was not bad, pretty standard stuff. After dinner the waitress took another 15 minutes to actually take our credit card. Will never go there again. There are plenty of other options right down the road that offer good service and quality food.

Pie in the Sky is a great place to catch a local draft beer, and a delicious pizza. Their pastas and salads are even an item to try at this woodfired oven pizza place. The back room is painted as if you were dining in outer space, which makes it a great place to bring the younger ones in the family. If you're looking for a more quite night of pizza and wine, their all year round screened in porch provides you with that great opportunity. It's a great place for everybody, there's no doubt about that! They even have more than 40 toppings to choose from, so there's a pizza for every taste!

The all you can eat lunch special is a rare food bargain in Stowe. The pizza is ok if you like the 'wood oven' style but nothing special. The Matterhorn's pizza is just as good and Piecasso has much better NY style pizza. If you're really hungry and it's lunch time then Pie in the Sky is a good choice. The service has been pretty good in my experience. Atmosphere is more suited to lunch or dining with the kids.

The pizza is amazing. They have a very affordable lunch buffet too. There are so many different toppings they offer that you will want to go back and try them all...they have pastas too. The atmosphere is family friendly...painted bright colors with a space theme. If you are in Stowe...this is a great place to save some money while having an awesome meal.

Great pizza, don't go anywhere else for pie. If you want lunch off the mountain, check out the $6.95 all you can eat lunch buffet. Worth every cent.

Having been raised on pies from New Haven, I will be the first to admit I am a pizza snob. Pie in the Sky however is a pleasant surprise. The pizza is good because they use fresh ingredients. My grand daughter makes us return again and again for the Blonde Vermonter- a combination of fresh apples, local cheeses and excellent ham. The ambiance is underwhelming but it is about the food. Fresh ingredients, prepared from scratch and served hot by an attentive wait staff coupled with more than reasonable prices makes Pie in the Sky a bargain. No the pizza is not charred, will not compete with Pizza Regina, Santarp's in Boston or Pepes or Ray's but it is way good for the location and the price.

I wasn't impressed with the pizza or the ambience of Pie in the Sky. It felt like they were just trying to pack as many people as possible in and didn't put much effort into the restaurant ambience. The pizza was OK but there are better options in Stowe.
