A great favorite of mine and many others, for beer, food, and bar talk with locals. Started long ago, keeps going strong.

Garden variety bar food. I live in Stowe, and there are much better choices out there. The beer selection is good, but don't expect anything special off the menu. Also, service can be spotty. The facility is nice, however.

A great pick. Place is beautiful and the food is great. Excellent burgers and family friendly. They brew their own beer and is good.

Great Beer

The Shed makes some great beer and they offer a discount on your next purchase if you bring your container back. We stop here multiple times/visit to Stowe to try the different varieties.

Slow

We have tried this place a few times and the service is always slow. It has a nice "cabin" atmosphere but is always warm inside. You can wear your summer clothes in February to be able to eat here.

Great beer and great food. We have been there many times and keep going back for more. The best brews are the Mountain and Amber ales.

The Shed Restaurant is a great place for a nice meal. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is great. The portions are really big I could never eat everything and the staff is very friendly.

Another great place to get beer

The Shed in Stowe is another excellent place to grab a beer. I stopped their on my way from The Alchemist a few weeks ago. The beer is pretty good quality and affordable as well. They sell it in growlers too. The only downside is that I didn't have enough time to hang around and get the gist of the place. It's easily accessible, on Rt.100.
