This is going to be the most honest review for Pam's Place.
I order form here on a regular basis and I find that the pizza is always generally good with fresh ingredients. I do keep ordering them and has been my experience that it depends on who is cooking them.
The owners are very good at what they do and can cook pizza good. However the quality (not burnt but the darkness or browning) of the pizza depends on which employee is working that day/night.
The subs are great and filling. They have plenty of meat and veggies. The hot subs however are also great but depends who's cooking that day/night.
The salads are super great and the large is enough for two-four people depending. I have never had a bad salad from here although it is hard to mess up a salad.
The other food like appetizers are all frozen food all they do is cook it and serve. Again its kind of hard to mess something like this up unless you burn it.
Now lets review the people. It's not fair to really review employees because they come and they go and its up to the owner of the business to manage the employee's manners and appearance. In my 16 years of doing business with Pam's Place I have noticed that the owner can be (sometimes but not always) a little difficult to deal with. However he has softened up over the years.
My suggestion to the owner would be: Treat the customer as #1 and be a little stricter on the employees especially in the watch the food and don't over cook the food department.
My overall review is that this is a great little place to eat. The food is good if its not slightly over cooked. I think you will enjoy yourself. Not to mention the fact that they deliver the food so it's very convenient and i don't need to drive anyplace after a hard days work.
I worked here for about 3 years!
The grinders a GREAT but the Pizza and new Fries are terrible!!
He uses bread dough for his pizza which is tasteless and like cardboard (depending if the pizza is fresh or two days old and has been sitting in the fridge uncovered =P)
I still go there to this day for the Philly Cheese Steak Grinder!
Must Go! Don't Eat The Pizza!!!!
I have only ordered from Pam s a few times when I was to lazy to leave the house because they deliver. Pam s place has potential but they really need to work on their pizza. I think they must have a large bucket they keep their sauce in and just keep adding new to the old. The bucket must never get cleaned and some of the sauce is super old because it tastes fermented. I have experience in making pizza and a fermented tasting sauce is old. Besides the sauce issue, the rest is ok. Nothing memorable at all, but that can go either way.
I was not really happy with the everything pizza but I did find the pepproni pizza, subs, and wings excellent! Over all our experience has been great with them we order weekly from pams place pizza! They work hard to meet our needs, all things can not be perfect but they are great at making great food!
