KFC, St Albans

I would hope that the management has changed since we last went, but regardless we will never go to this location again.

KFC also houses Taco Bell in St. Albans Vermont. I brought my children to this location last winter. My daughter and son both ordered the 1 taco/2 chicken strip kid's meal. The food was packaged up and ready in minutes, which was good.

When I got to the table, I discovered the chicken strips were missing from the kid's meals. I walked back up to the counter and was told by the cashier that I was lying and must have eaten their four strips in the 30 seconds it took me to walk to the table, set up and come back to the counter. All this while and my kids are standing with me. I asked for a manager, who I later learned is related to the cashier, and she said the same thing that obviously I had eaten it and was trying to sneak a free meal out of them. They refused to give more chicken strips. Four customers waiting in line watched the entire episode and ended up walking out, one had even witnessed that there was no way I could have eaten the whole four strips from the time I left the counter to the time I returned. I ended up splitting my own chicken strip meal between my children.

Later when I called the KFC chain and Taco Bell chain, I was told that that store is independently owned, so they cannot do anything about it.

So much for customer service.
