The pizza is decent if you have over an hour to wait for it...the wings on the other hand are gooey and gross. I literally had trouble picking one up! They were a slimy mess...go ANYWHERE else for your own safety.
Looking for some good South Burlington Vermont Pizza and Italian-style Food try Marcos Pizza.
I am a fan of the fresh ciabatta bread, real homemade meatballs on the pizza, and the two slices and a soda for five dollars daily special.
I also enjoy the pleasant crowd and positive energy when i visit for lunch. Marcos is a family owned and operated business, they are nice people, and well liked throughout the local community, so don't be surprised if the owner says hi while your food is being made. I am also the owner of a small family business so I appreciate seeing the family there working each day when I visit. This is one more reason I know they personally take pride in the quality of the food and service I receive which make all the difference to me.
This also makes Marcos a great place to bring the family to enjoy some delicious South Burlington Vermont Pizza and Italian-style Meals and Ya... They Flip And Spin The Pizza Doughs In The Air... so the kids will enjoy themselves while they watch the pizzas being prepared.
When we first happened in to Marco's....we were hungry...we walked through the door and the aroma was just too divine! It is an authentic pizzaria! The pizza is absolutely delicious! It is not greasy...like some I have had...there is a perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to toppings.....and I just loved the feel of the place. I love watching the pizza bakers flipping the pizza in the air...and I love the diner style type seating. You can relax...enjoy...and be assured that when you leave Marco's you will be full and happy...and wishing you were hungry again...so you can go back and eat some more! I highly recommend Marco's for some of the best pizza!
Horrible, pizza was barely cooked couldn't even pick it up because the dough was stuck to the box. 6 dollars for a greek salad, hardly any effort put into it. Toppings were good, sauce is great but they need to turn their oven up, or keep it in longer. Also, waiting an hour and 10 minutes for delivery was unacceptable, they also forgot the salad dressing.
I'm a local, I eat there 2 to 3 times per week on avg for lunch. You can't beat 4.00 flat for 2 pizzas with a topping and soda. NY style pizza is pretty much the same everywhere, it's pretty hard to mess it up. If you see it, the sicillian is pretty good, and cheaper(???) (Paid 3.73 for two slices of sicillian the other day)
I much prefer the sausage and pepper sandwich on ciabatta though, thats my 'default'. I usually ask them to add mushrooms, they never charge extra for that.
The calzones are HUGE, they can easily feed 3 people. Def only order a small if you are eating alone. Other great thing they have is the house salad, pretty great value as well.
They also have decent beer on tap,(magic hat and rock art) but I certainly don't have a pint before going back to work!
I can only say it this way: 2 slices and a drink for $3.79. The slices are huge! What a deal! Also a can do attitude. never been told no, they don't do that, or only on this special occasion.
If you like pizza, this is your place. Other stuff is good to.
