Exceptional food...by far best Italian restaurant in Burlington. Great ambiance, service, and excellent management.

This place was amazing. It was romantic, small, and the food was excellent. The wine list was extensive and the service attentive. We will be coming back to Burlington again-just to eat here!

I would go there all the time if we could afford it. Nice atmosphere, incredible service, thoughtful wine list... and the food is amazing. Try the filet au poivre, or the ragout - and let the server help you choose the wine. This is the type of place where they truly know everything on the menu, the wine list, and they will happily steer you towards a nice choice. If it's just two of you, ask for one of the corner tables by the fireplace.

They were said it was a Sea Bass but turn out it was something else. 95 % of my diet is seafood and I’m from a tropical country I know what a Bass looks like. On top of that it was not fresh and extremely expensive. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. Oh, and the wine was awful.

Bad food in a romantic setting
By vtwoman10, 3/6/07
The food was aweful, and expensive. I had to send back my first dish that reminded me of soggy Mac & Cheese, and I ordered a strongly reccomended dish that was quite similar to Hamburger Helper.

True Italian
By johna, 2/21/07
The cuisine is authentic as is the atmosphere and service. The selection on the wine list is great without being overloaded. When the main course is over what meal is truly complete without room for dessert? The desserts are a taste sensation to be enjoyed. The prices are on the higher end, but you get what you pay for and for the experience is well worth it. A true value!

Overpriced and Overrated...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/17/07
Burlington has so many great restaurants with great prices. This restaurant is good, but overpriced and overrated. The service and food are both good, but you can get that at many less pricey places. I would recommend this to someone who has tried everything and wants something new.

Try the filet!
By Laura, 2/10/07
Honestly, the best food I've ever had in America. Authentic Italian. Filet was perfectly cooked and could be cut with a fork! All pasta dishes were freshly made with REAL pasta. I had duck as a starter and it was absolutely amazing. Gnocchi was fantastic. I felt like I should have been paying in Euros. Definitly a treat. Request the fireside table for a romantic evening and DEFINITLY make reservations in advance.

Not worth the price
By JD, 12/16/06
I have been here three times over the last few years and it has gone down hill every time. The food was great the first time, average the second and third time.Service was terrible the last two times. For these prices in Burlington you can do much better than here.

WOW!!!!!
By AR, 10/14/06
My girlfriend and I went on a roadtrip a couple weeks ago and just got back this week. En route to a wedding in Chittenden we stayed the night in Burlington. Keep in mind we are both Italians from Chicago that love to eat!!!! I must say, Trattoria Delia was right up there with any Italian restaurant I've eaten at across the country including Chicago. For anybody looking for real authentic Italian dishes, a knowledgeable staff and a great wine list, great ambiance, this is the place for you.
